Can I really start for free?
Yes, absolutely! The free plan is not a trial version with an expiration date – it is free forever.
With the free plan, you can manage up to 3 vehicles with all features like: Digital vehicle registration, fuel log, MOT reminders, insurance management and 10 OCR scans per month.
We primarily target private car owners and are confident that with up to 3 vehicles, we cover the majority of all households.
Why is purchasing through the web portal cheaper?
Apple and Google charge a commission of up to 30% for in-app purchases. Unfortunately, we have to pass these costs on to you if you buy directly in the app.
When purchasing through our web portal (fahrzeugschein.de), these fees do not apply. We pass the savings on to you completely.
After purchasing through the web portal, your subscription is automatically activated in the app. You just need to sign in with the same account.
How can I cancel my Fahrzeugschein.de subscription?
You can cancel your Fahrzeugschein.de subscription at any time. All our subscriptions are cancellable monthly (even with annual plans).
Important: Cancellation must be done where you originally purchased the subscription.
How to cancel your Fahrzeugschein.de subscription:
- Web Portal: Log in to fahrzeugschein.de and cancel in your profile under "Manage Subscription".
- iOS App: Open iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Fahrzeugschein.de → Cancel Subscription.
- Android App: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Fahrzeugschein.de → Cancel Subscription.
After cancellation, your Fahrzeugschein.de subscription continues until the end of the paid period. You will then be automatically switched to the free plan. Your data will be preserved.
How does the annual subscription work?
With the annual subscription, you pay once for 12 months and save up to 19% compared to the monthly price.
After 12 months, the subscription renews automatically. However, you can cancel at any time before expiration.
Example Silver Plan:
- Monthly: €2.99/month = €35.88/year
- Annually: €2.42/month = €29.00/year → You save €6.88
What happens to my data when I cancel?
Your data is preserved. After cancellation, you will be switched to the free plan.
If you have more than 3 vehicles, they will not be deleted. You just cannot use all features until you upgrade or remove vehicles.
What payment methods are accepted?
On the Web Portal, we accept:
- SEPA Direct Debit
- PayPal
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
In the App, payment is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store with the payment methods stored there.
