Frequently Asked Questions about the Fuel Log
How do I record a refueling?
You have two options:
- Scan receipt: Simply photograph your fuel receipt. The app automatically recognizes gas station, amount, price and date.
- Enter manually: Type in the data yourself: date, liters, price per liter and current mileage.
Consumption is automatically calculated from the mileage and the amount refueled.
Can I import my data from Spritmonitor?
Yes! We support CSV import from:
- Spritmonitor
- Fuelio
- Drivvo
- And many other apps
Export your data as CSV and adjust it to our format. A template with the required columns can be found in the app, then simply upload.
What is the difference to Spritmonitor?
Spritmonitor is a pure consumption tracking tool. Fahrzeugschein.de is the all-in-one app for drivers. The fuel log is just one of many features:

OCR receipt scan: The free plan includes 10 scans. If you want to scan receipts regularly, you can upgrade to Premium. OCR scanning is then unlimited.
